This massive mammal is a Humpback Whale! They are named after, well, the hump on their back that you may see as they breach the surface and make a big splash with their fins. They can travel great distances during their seasonal migration, with some whales migrating 5,000 miles between summer feeding grounds and winter mating areas!
Our Humpback whale plush features their signature noises, press the fin and it'll start making its iconic whale call!
About The Humpback Whale
This Humpback Whale plush is made with both a soft minky fabric and a ribbed fabric to mirror the whale's belly texture. This plush also has an electronic element wired and sewed into its fin, where if you press a button a speaker in it’s head will start playing whale noises!
Plush Details
Humpbacks are known for singing loud, complex songs that can last up to 30 minutes! The sounds they make are the most varied in the animal kingdom from high squeals to low gurgles. Only males ‘sing’ and experts think they do it to attract females or to let other males know they’re in the area.
