These colorful mollusks are called Nudibranchs! Also known commonly as sea slugs, they come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. A nudibranch’s main diet consists of coral and jellyfish that contain stinging cells, which lets them sting others for defense! So be careful to not touch with your hands if you ever find these little slugs in tide pools or near docks and piers!
Our Plushies however, do not sting! So cuddle to your hearts content with their beautiful patterns and ruffles.
About The Nudibranch
This plush is made with a unique printed pattern to capture the signature colors of the nudibranch. A soft ruffle lines their bodies to mimic their distinct shapes, as well as sewn-on plumes for their nose and gills.
Plush Details
The nickname “sea bunny” comes from the small feather-like rhinopores that stick out of it’s head that look similar to a rabbit’s ears. However, they actually function like nostrils, not ears!
