About The Frogfish

Say hello to the Frogfish! Related to anglerfish, these small creatures live near coral reefs and can slowly camouflage to match their homes to hide from predators and sneak up on their prey. They are called "frog" fish because when they move, they push water through their gills to launch themselves forward like a jumping frog!

Our frogfish plush is modeled after a juvenile, because it hasn’t fully developed the lure on it’s head!

This plush is made with a unique printed pattern to mimic the appearance of a clown/juvenile frogfish. Their many fins are embroidered to copy the ribbed fins of the actual creature. This plush also features a pair of safety eyes to capture their cute stare.
